Why should I study Sport Coaching?
A Certificate III in Sport Coaching is a great opportunity to develop your skills to work in the sporting community. In this course, we look at ways to develop your skills and knowledge about a variety of sports through drills, skills and game play.
You will have an opportunity to coach in the community in your chosen sporting area.
The certificate has a combination of practical and theory work. Practical sessions focus on designing and implementing coaching plans and understanding how to work with children of different ages. You will work both collaboratively and individually on tasks.

What work will I do in Sport Coaching?
Over the year, you will develop a portfolio of work which includes your coaching philosophy, coaching outlines and plans. You will complete a First Aid Certificate and develop an understanding of working with and engaging children in activities. You will use your theory work as a base to coach in the community and to develop the skills and knowledge of your players.
