Why should I study Cloud Computing?

This Stackable VET option will provide students with the skills and knowledge to review and analyse cloud computing delivery and deployment to support the basic needs of a business by securely managing personally identifiable information. Students will also learn to troubleshoot problems, identify and implement preventative maintenance techniques and create simple applications through introductory programming techniques using the modern language, JavaScript.

Where does Cloud Computing lead?

Upon successful completion of these units, students may pursue employment within IT environments, with a focus on cloud computing, or continue with further study in the Certificate III in Information Technology.

What work will I do in Cloud Computing?

Students will complete the following units of competency:

ICTCLD301 – Evaluate characteristics of cloud computing solutions and services

BSBXCS303 – Securely manage personally identifiable information and workplace information

ICTPRG302 – Apply introductory programming techniques

ICTSAS308 – Run standard diagnostic tests
